Perfect hotel for our family!”

This was one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed at as a family. We are a family of five, w/ 2 kids and a grandma, and when we arrived, reception immediately upgraded us to rooms with a dividing door, on the 2nd floor. It was perfect - the beds are huge - 2 in each room - and we didn't need an extra cot. The entire hotel was clean and the staff helpful and welcoming. The hotel itself has everything we needed so that we felt like we didn't even need to leave the grounds for the 4 days that we were there. (We took a tuk tuk to the Night Market one night. You can also take a hotel taxi for 50 Bhat/person, kids free.) There are two pools, a ping-pong table which we used a lot, and a really good restaurant with tables running alongside the sea. The open lobby flows into the restaurant which then leads down to the water. The beach is long, perfect for long walks (even though we wished some of the hotels would have picked up some of the trash along the sand). We will definitely stay at Sailom if we are ever in Hua Hin again.

Great stay at a classic hotel”

Lovely and quaint hotel perfect for our family holiday to Hua Hin. Rare, beach front property with small occupancy so none of the usual holiday hordes. It’s an older facility but has very well thought of details. Breakfast was good and substantial but note that we are Asian and love Thai food. There was a selection of bread, cereal, bacon, salad and eggs for the more western taste. 5 minute walk to Blu Port mall where there is a great selection of restaurants and food stalls to choose from and a grocery that has awesome Thai souvenirs. Also very close to the Vana Nava water park. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Hua Hin in the future. Cons: As mentioned in the other reviews, the walls are not soundproof so if you happen to have noisy neighbors and are a light sleeper, this may be an issue for you. We slept quite soundly. If you get a standard room, your window faces the neighboring property. Bed is also quite stiff. Nice and very helpful staff!

Excellent”

an older hotel but very nice and very comfortable the pools are good and the restaurant food is very good with live music some nights the location is great with nice beach and not as busy as closer to hua hin centre the staff are very friendly and go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable hotel taxi was 100 baht to hua hin centre which is the bar area but there is a big shopping centre across the road from sailom hotel with laundry and 711 mart in close proximity i would stay here again

Great holiday location”

Located with direct beachfront this resort is ideal to explore Hua Hin. Located directly opposite is Blue point shopping centre and a huge extremely well equipped supermarket. Sailoms rooms may be older in style but are well maintained,clean and very functional.We found that the wifi was very good and the two pools immaculate. Being out of town is not a problem as there are plenty of taxis and the resort car will drive you to any local town area for 100Bht. Have stayed here before and pleased to say that the quality of service is still excellent.

Nice Inexpensive On-Beach Resort”

I enjoyed my stay at the Sailom hotel ... located along the beach in Hua Hin, the Sailom hotel is in the middle of it all. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. As far as I'm concerned, onlu the necessity to keep logging into the internet every few minutes was a nusance. The included breakfast was good, as were all the meals eaten off the menu.

Exceeded expectations.”

The hotel exceeded all expectations. The deal we got through Agoda was great value for money for a hotel of this calibre. The rooms were spacious and well kept. The staff very helpful and friendly. The private beach was the best I have seen this close to Bangkok, much nicer than the over crowded Hua Hin City Beach. The hotel is 2 km from the centre of town, this is not a problem as there are many samlor style taxis opposite the hotel entrance that can get you in the thick of things cheaply and quickly. The hotel restaurant is also worth a visit with good priced and high quality Thai and European food. I will definitely be making a return visit sooner rather than later!

Sailom Hotel”

Having worked as aircrew for 25 years, I have stayed in plenty of 3-5 star hotels over the years all over the world, so feel confident in giving this hotel a 9.5 out of 10. Charming feel to this hotel, and the staff marvellous. Only 100B in cab to center of Hua Hin and nightlife, should you want it. Right on beach. Sailom Hotel ticks all the boxes.

Super Sailom”

If you can live without crystal chandeliers and marble statuettes and prefer old style comfort a little past its best but lovingly cared for a situation on the beach which is superb and a restaurant where the food and service is to an excellent standard,look no further than The Sailom hotel Hua Hin

Great location and impeccable service”

I believe the Sailom has the best beach location of any hotel in that area and their price is very competitive.Their service is outstanding in all ways.If I go back to Hua Hin I will definitely book a room at the Sailom.

A well run gem”

This place makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Not a huge place but the layout is spread out over quite a bit of peaceful, private property off of a busy road with a very nice and new mall across the street. The other side is of course directly on the beach which is outstanding. The staff is absolutely wonderful. It's full of mostly 10, 20, 30+ year employees that actually seem to love the place, from what I understand it's the first hotel in Hua Hin but kept tidy and clean by a helpful and friendly staff that it feels like I was visiting an older relative in their charming older house. The cook staff has been there forever and are masters at Thai dishes so the locals come by in the evening to enjoy great food by the beach.The price, location and staff makes this a wonderful place to stay.

Nice & clean beach”

Location is good. Hotel is situated right on the beach but almost the end of Hua Hin. Though it's a bit further away from other hotels but the great thing is the beach is clean. We can really enjoy walking along the beach. There are a lot of foreigners at the hotel, our couple is the only Thais! Anyway we got the same service as others which is better than big chain hotel. The room is large but a bit old. However with renovation everything is clean enough and not to complain about. Food is good. Breakfast is ok but they are vey sharp to close at 10am. Once it is 10am they took everything away without any warning! Well.. Overall I would like to suggest others to consider this as a good budget hotel.

Old hotel but big room with excellent services”

Any time that my friend(s) and I stayed at this hotel, we always feel comfortable. As it's near the beach, it's like the hotel have their own private beach for the customers. It's quite conveneint to visit tourist spots in that area ie Hua Hin Village Market, local market, royal palace etc. Most staff are well-trained to answer all questions friendly, I could witness. The only issue that I would like to complain is the price which is too high for the old hotel especially compared to last year, it's THB 700 difference.

Great location, older but clean hotel”

this older hotel is located on the best streach of hua hin beach. my room is functional and very clean. the hotel restaurant is the attraction in itself, drawing many out-of hotel diners. the food is wonderful and the price is very reasonable. this hotel is very popular with the older thai crowd and thai families. there are not many foreign tourists, which is a good change comparing to other international hotel chains nearby.

Great hotel by the beach”

Had a good stay in the Sailom Hotel, the rooms were a good size. 2 pools. Had a few meals at the restaurant, the food both western & thai was quite good. The staff were very helpful and were always pleasant to deal with. would definately stay there again when I am in Hau Hin

Simply the best-clean room/nice staffs/ great location”

Sailom was operared more than my ages. A warm welcoming and friendly old staffs are still there. It is not a luxury hotel but is has every thing you fundamentally needed. Clean room. Value for money price. Quite small hotel. Yet its location is on one side, just opposite a biggest new mall-Blu Port in Hua Hin and on the other side is the beach.

great value hotel in hun-hin city”

this hotel is in hua-hin city and has beach front. you can walk from the hotel to the beach and take a horse ride. the beach is clean and quiet. the room is clean. the food tastes good and the price is not high compare to others. two swimming pools, table tennis, and a nice music at night near the beach is impressive. in conclusion, a great value hotel.

Good location ,beach resort”

i went to hua-hin with my friends in summer holiday.i booked room via hotel website cuz i don't know hua-hin as well. when i arrived the hotel. it's look quite old but not dirty. everybody(staff) are very kindness.they always smile to us. around hotel is nice place.that time on summer but not hot too much cuz a lot of trees there. so great !!!! about in side room: big and clean

Value at the Beach”

The Sailom Hotel is a good value for a moderate price hotel in the Hua Hin area. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. The hotel is right on the beach so morning and evening beach walks are easy. It is a bit away from the downtown Hua Hin area, but an easy drive or taxi ride to the night market and restaurants. So, quiet location, but easy access to the nightlife in town.

Renovated, Big room, Very Traditional Thai style”

The room was big with new flooring, but very old decoration with moldy smell. The shower was good and the bed was big. The room was right near the main road. The location is very good as it is right on the beach. This part of the beach is good and clean. Hua hin is not a place that you swim in the sea as it has jellyfish all year round. It is a town you go to eat and hang out like what Thai people like to do. If you like to swim, choose a hotel with good pools. This hotel was good for us because we were heading down south. Good rate for the area.

Perfect location, Well maintained ”

Beachfront hotel located at the heart of Hua Hin, 5 min walk to the Bluport shopping mall. The hotel is quite old but the room is clean and comfy. The restaurant is also famous among locals.
