We had a lovely stay at Lady Hill. The staff was excellent and especially a man called Mr Philips. He really makes that place! Lovely location in a calm area and fun details in the lobby and common areas. Rooftop restaurant is something that you must visit. Lovely food! Recommend the seafood, best prawns in garlic I have ever had. Rooms are spacious and very clean and every night they come to make arrangements for the night ie arrange the sheet and put nice flowers and a complimentary chocolate. I will most definatly come to Lady Hill again, highly recommended.

Peace just a few minutes from the Fort”
Lady Hill was a find for us. Above the hubbub of the town, 10 minutes walk to the fort, 360 views from the rooftop restaurant and a pool large enough for a good swim. Very helpful and lovely staff. We went to fort restaurants for dinner (wide choice and atmosphere) and only had breakfast in the roof restaurant . Enjoyed the tranquility and the lovely atmosphere of the original house- rooms are in a relatively newly built section.

Extremley well designed. Rooms are small and bathrooms even smaller BUT so well thought out, you felt like you had a lot more space than you actually did. Roof top bar and restarunt is superb for an almost 260 degree view of the ares, best location in Galle for a view and cooling breeze. Service was so professional as was everything about this hotel. Everything so well thought out. Rack rate would be over priced in my opinion better options in that price range elsewhere. Food is Ok, not the best in the area but perfectly acceptable.

I booked online but rooms were not avail in hotel, accomadated to another villa by management which is walkable distance. Very small swimming pool which is disappointing. Best view of Galle(including harbour) is visible in the forth floor of the hotel which is highest point in the town. Good breakfast. SPA is not standard. Pleasant staff and helpful.

hotel is currently updating some rooms, this gives some noise. It should haven been better ( correct ) if they would mentioned this with the booking ( before confirmation)

had a nice stay here, if at all the pillows were a bit hard but everything else was fine. a/c, hot water, room service, check desk, breakfast table - staff friendly and nice would go there again and recommend same

galle does not have enough good hotels. light house hotel is good but too expensive. stay there if you have no other choice. staff is very helpful.

Staff extremely helpful in regards to every aspect of my stay. Lovely location especially to the cricket ground which is walking distance. Beautiful gardens and rooftop restaurant. Would love to stay for longer.

Hotel was under renovation and for urgently needed lift. should not have marketed while building and food is of low quality with very limited selection. For too pricy for what’s on offer. Most of Senior staff very unfriendly may be we were locals?

Le restaurant au dernier étage en terrasse nous offre une vue superbe sur la ville , le port et la mer. Schöne Aussicht, aber Zimmer muffig”
Bad war sauber, aber das Zimmer selber hatte Schimmel. Gute Lage mit schöner Aussichtsbar. Altstadt in 30 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Essen war befriedigend. Wellnessangebote hatten wir nicht genutzt. Empfang war freundlich. Personal im Restaurant schien etwas überfordert.
