Great stay with varieties of food & shopping!”
we reach macau after 6 days stay in hong kong and travel to macau for another 3 days holiday. we reach macau ferry terminal and easily we are able to see a lady standing at the exit of the ferry terminal showing "venetian macao resort hotel" and directed us to the free shuttle service. before taking the free shuttle, i had tried to queue up at the macau ferry when i arrived for the purchase of ticket (turbo jet) back to hk, and end up, after half hours, the queue is still non moving. so,i back to the hotel, and through their great concierge service. we are able to book our ferry ticket (cotai jet) back to hk in advance without any hassle. once we reach the hotel, we are welcome and directed to the check in at the south lobby. we are expecting that it will be a slow process or long queue, due to these hotel having 3000 rooms! however, we are surprise of check in within 5 minutes, and was being shown to our hotel room. we are even being offered 2 welcome drink & 1 free 4r photo! our requisition of baby cot & high floor is being meet as well. we shops inside the hotel itself, and we walk till drop coz of the great varieties, though the shops price is a bit higher than outside. we did join the half day tour around macau and at affordable rate at mop98/ppl. its surprised that with mop98/ppl, we are able to see 15 highlight place of macau. a great tour to join! during our check-out, we did keep our luggage at the "baggage center" and when we did a claim at our baggages, the staffs offer to help us "trolley" our baggage to the free shuttle waiting for us to cotai ferry terminal. if i were to come to macau again, i will definitely stay in the venetian macao resort hotel and will recommend my friends to there too... p/s : the next time, i will visit the casino, and i had missed it this time due to time constraint on shopping! :)

Great Trip + Good Time @ Venetian”
I had spent time 3 days at Venetian. Enjoy meeting, shopping, eating, and relaxing - 24 hrs casino Las Vegas Sands’ second resort to open in Macau, called The Venetian, is the anchor of the much larger Cotai Strip mega-tourism development, an unparalleled master plan that will become the ''Las Vegas Strip'' of Asia. The Venetian Macao, opened on August 28, 2007, combines the glamour of Las Vegas with mystical Asian flair. “Bringing the charm of Venice and the glamour of Las Vegas” to Macau, as its construction billboard declares, The Venetian Macao will include luxury suites in a 32-story tower, creating the beauty of baroque Venice complete with canals, gondolas, singing gondoliers and other legendary Venetian icons.

GREAT HOTEL, GREAT SERVICE, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”
The Venetian offers a fantastic choice of food, excellent rooms and service for an affordable price (and if you are gambling the reward points can get you free meals, drinks and even rooms). They upgraded us on arrival without asking but be careful the internet in all rooms is charged at 16euros per day (very expensive). The Cotai discovery package does not cost much and you get a passport with big discounts on many activities such as breakfasts (you can swop for lunch etc..), if you don't want some activities you can also change these for cash-back in the Casino. The attached shopping mall is huge and will take a whole day to walk around and through all the canals (if you have ever been to the Las Vegas Venetian - its the same quality with many, many more shops). Be careful though if you are planning to go shopping because Macau and Hong Kong are far more expensive for branded goods (in fact most clothing and accessories) than all European shops - don't think you will get any bargains for your louis or Gucci bags for example. If arriving at the airport there is a shuttle bus to the Venetian and if arriving by boat from HK then there is a shuttle bus station across the road - very well organized. If going into town use the shuttle bus from the Sands hotel across the road as taxis are very rare and expensive and the Venetian shuttle does not go into the historic town. If you are a gambler then its worth a visit but i would never go back in comparison to Las Vegas. The main difference is that Vegas is focused on gambling and also entertainment for all age groups and Macau is not, they just focus on you spensing your money on Casinos and shopping and very little shows and entertainment compared to Vegas. Also if you are playing be aware that there are the usual Poker, Blackjack international games but most games are focused and designed for Asian's which we Europeans find hard to understand and appreciate. All the slots are pretty rubbish, expensive and boring

Luxury and comfort worth every dollar.”
I never stayed in a 5-star hotel as luxurious and as value for money as i ever been. Most 5-star i stayed before, banked on their brand name rather than the actual services they rendered. Indeed, the name The Venetian is quite well known perhaps due to the sister hotel on the Las Vegas strip, but globally is less known than other 5-star brand names which i shall not name here. The moment i step out of their complimentary feeder coach from the Macau Outer ferry terminal (they have a huge fleet of feeder coaches), i was greeted with the warmest welcome, my luggage was immediately picked-up without any need to request. I was ushered onto the front desk courteously, and my check-in was handled promptly. Room was super spacious, their bathroom is larger than the master bedroom in my home. Food was excellent, and there's none that i would complain. There is a dedicated children play room that's jaw dropping, at least to my 4 yrs old and 7 yrs old. The comfort of the room, and the amenities provided by the hotel is good enough to prevent me from actually travel around Macao to see what they have to offer, as what the hotel has to offer seems more interesting. The shopping mall annexed to the hotel is as large as it can be and you'll definitely be lost traversing it. As i'm not a gambler, i wouldnt know how to rate their casino though. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. As with most 5-star hotels, the price is steep, but unlike most, you get every dollar worth back. I will definitely be coming back to Macao just so i can stay at The Venetian again.

Venetian Macao is a luxurious hotel. It is very huge and elegant. Hotel staffs are nice and polite. We stayed in their royale suite for 2d1n. The suite has a king size bed, air conditioning unit, fridge, 2 – tv, living room and elegant bathroom with bath tub. The room is big and spacious. By the way, it doesn't have free wifi and the toilet doesn't have bidet. We had our lunch in Bambu Restaurant which is also located in Venetian. We tried their photo booth and unfortunately I didn't receive any pictures from my email address. We also ride in Gondola and we were serenade by our Filipino singer/driver. I think it’s a 10-15 minute ride. We weren't able to have a groupie shot because she told us that they are not allowed to touch our camera. Hehe. You can also have free water in a bottle in casino area. We didn't try nor play in their casino. The hotel also has boutique shops, restaurants, kid’s area and swimming pool. The hotel also has free shuttle to and from the airport. Too bad we weren't able to see the winter in Venice. All in all our stay in the hotel is great. Kudos to all the Filipino staff in Venetian Macao.

Big hotel with excellent service”
It was an extremely pleasant surprise to have checked into The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel The room is extremely comfortable that we could have cut short the stay in HongKong and spent the rest of the 3 days in Macau instead. The room is well designed and the service is great. Large rooms and well equipped with the amenities that you can imagine. Great for the folks and children. The hotel has such a variety of Shopping and good foods. Well designed and assessable to and from the Ferry Terminal with their free transportation and well planned network. Money well spent and we have a great time at Venetian. Highly Recommended. The room is as nice and cozy as shown on the picture itself... big rooms, luxurious bathrooms and a spacious living space in the room... Staffs are polite, nice and helpful... Features and activities inside the resort itself is enough to entertain the whole family... not only that... girls would love this place... as most of the brands are there... and also a big duty free shop... Location is nice as well... but it is quite far from the historical sites... but there is a free shuttle from Venetian hotel to Sands hotel... which then you can take a cab to the attractions... is more cheaper... other than that... everything is good and nice...

Luxurious hotel with superb shopping experience”
We actually stayed for a few nights at another hotel before staying at Venetian. We realized that by just paying USD10+ more compared to the previous hotel, we got a much better deal at Venetian. So, what if we got free breakfast at the other hotel? The breakfast was not so great after all. Anyway, the luxurious furnishings and interior design at Venetian make you feel like you're living in a castle. The room is super huge. We got a bella suite with 2 queen-sized beds. There were just the 2 of us. The room can accommodate at least 5 people, with 2 couples sleeping in the beds, and another person sleeping on the sofa, which can actually be turned into a bed if you move down the cushions. It's ideal if you are traveling with kids. The bell boy, concierge, receptionist were all very polite and helpful. They were well-trained. That's what I call service with a smile. The shopping at the Grand Canal Shoppes was superb, as most stores were clearing their winter collection to make way for spring collection. All well-renowned high-end brands are represented here. You can find everything under one roof! Those who love classical and operatic music can take a gondola ride along one of the 3 canals at the Grand Canal Shoppes, as the gondolier serenade you with a tune from one of Puccini's opera. The only major drawback at Venetian as in other hotels and public areas in Macau is that there is no restriction to indoor-smoking. There were dozens of people smoking in the lobby area, food court, outside the shops and even in the restaurants!! This really spoiled our vacation. Don't go inside the casinos if you don't want to choke yourself to death! We had actually prepared a budget to play a few rounds, but changed our mind because of the thick smoke found inside each and every single casinos in Macau. We may be heading to Singapore as they ban indoor smoking. Another drawback is that internet is not free. But, there's a Starbucks where you can enjoy free surfing.

Inclsuive stay in a mega hotel”
Stay at the Venetian Macao Resort is remarkable with everything can be done without going out the resort. The shopping mall is marvelous with the real-like sky ceiling and the rolling canals, same as the Venetian Hotel in L.V. The hotel provides free shuttles from the border gates (next to China, one at the northern part of Macau peninsula and the other is near the hotel at Cotai area ), piers (ferries to HK and Guongdong cities) and airport. It should be reminded that everything is big at the hotel. The room, bed, bathroom are all in mega size, so as the hotel itself. It is easy to lost way in the hotel and it takes about 10 minutes walk from the main entrance to your room. Similar with other 5-stars hotel, the F&B outlets in the hotels are all expensive, even the food court is not really worth in value. It is highly recommended to try the local restaurants in the Taipa city or Macau peninsula.

Very beautiful and convenient.”
Travelling from HK to Macao is a breeze. Just buy ferry tickets from Shun Tak Centre, 3rd Level, Cotai ferry. It's just 1 hour journey to Macao Ferry Terminal. Upon arrival, after clearing the imigration, you will be glad to see the Venetian coach waiting. Coach ride is about 10 mins to reach hotel. The rooms are big and clean. Facilities is great too. The food courts are on the 3rd level, kids playground on the 5th level. We really enjoyed the stay and regretted not staying longer than the 2 nites planned. Buy the 1 or 2 days packages, check with the conceirge upon arrival. Value for money as the gondola, kid's playground plus the show at discounted price and if you get the 2 day package, you get MOP200 (equivalent to HKD30) to spend on the shopping/eating. In fact, the rooms and facilities will enticed you to spend more time in the hotel then visiting other places of interest. That's why 2 nites stay is nt enough.

The Venetian Macau is a fantastic choice!”
Our stay at The Venetian Macau was absolutely amazing! The room was exactly as it was in the photos, and compared to the Venetian in Vegas, this was even grander. The hotel shuttle bus to the airport is made really convenient, only 5-10 mins ride! And it comes very fast. The casino is grand and amazing, the shopping areas is definitely the best in all of Macau, you get high end luxury brands to standard affordable brands and some boutique unique shops as well, with the replica of the canals you can sit in the boats like you are in Venice. The room is amazing with European style replicating the Venetian style extravagant lifestyle. The only thing I would say are not worth trying is the food court. It's a very loud and pushy competition to try to get food there, seating is almost impossible during peak hours and the service of cleaning up trash is too slow. Try the restaurants, they're amazing! For dim sum, try the Imperial House, it's very good quality and amazingly yummy dim sum! For western, try Fogo Samba, it's a Brazilian style buffet in the Venetian with all you can eat meat and a very delicious salad bar! The golf course is also a relaxing fun sport to try out if it's not raining or too hot, we did and it was cheap and fun! Overall I definitely recommend staying at the Venetian Macau once in your lifetime!!

Royal Treatment and Feeling”
Stay at The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel was simply amazing. This is a must stay hotel if anyone happens to visit Macau. Large sized Suite Rooms with high class luxury, comfort and great interiors makes you feel you are in a palace. Casino Experience was simply amazing. Best Casio in entire Macau. There are around 800 tables and it's filled with people 24/7. The resort is so huge with so many things to do and it can easily take around 15 hours to visit the entire resort. We had a lunch buffet at Cafe Deco Restaurant and it was awesome. We would certainly visit Macau again to feel The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel experience

Affordable luxury: opulance & the right crowd”
The Venetian Macao is larger than life. You truly have to be there to appreciate the attention to detail and determined effort to make the interior & exterior facades & frescoes varied. It makes for lots of great photo ops and creates a luxuriant atmosphere. The huge mall and extensive dining options offer a wide range in tastes as well as price bands - and the perfect place to get pleasantly lost in. As a result it attracts the right crowd - families, couples, recreational gamblers - which helps to keep a fun & carefree feel. The rooms are all suites with huge bathrooms, acres of space, comfortable beds that lull you to sleep the moment your head hits the pillow - all-in-all well-appointed, well-kept and has not lost its shine. Corridors and elevator lobbies are well-lit. Staff are friendly, e.g. my mother asked for a bottle of water from housekeeping lady as we headed out, she gave us 4 in a nice hotel carry bag and stocked another 6 in our room. We had a view of the mini golf course, 3 pools, the luxury apartment across the road, and the Crown, Hard Rock & City of Dreams - the latter is very pretty when lit up in the evenings. We didn't take the hotel breakfast as there are plenty of dining options in the mall. Worthy of mention is the Michelin-starred Lei Garden which is excellent for yumcha / dimsum breakfast as always - I can never get over the perfect skin on their har kow (shrimp dumpling) & charsiew cheong - firm but not hard, transluscent but does not tear into sticky bits. The food court also has a lot of variety and makes for adequate, inexpensive nourishment. The mall is an extension of the hotel and carries the same intricate architectural designs on its facade, masquerading as homes with open windows or balconies with flower beds. The canals with singing gondoliers run thru the center of and hence splitting the "main street" to run parallely on its two banks. Bridges are interspersed at regular intervals and there are several main squares.

A Scenic Experience, an Attraction in Itself”
There were so many other options in terms of hotels in Macau. Most of the hotels in the area are equally grand and beautiful, however, we opted to stay at the Venetian because, well, it's Venetian. Just as we hoped, the rooms were really huge. If you're a family of 6, you'd actually fit into one Bella Suite. But we were 7, plus an infant, so we got two rooms, a Bella Suite and a Royale Suite. We had so much more room that would've fit more people. The only downside is probably walking to your suite. It's kind of far, but then you'll eventually get used to it. The hotel is an attraction in itself. The architecture and interiors of the hotel were beautiful. It was a scenic experience. You can take pictures almost everywhere because everything was just beautiful. I think it's much more beautiful than the Venetian in Vegas, because the one in the States is already old as compared to the one in Macau. In terms of shopping, you get both high and mid-ranged shopping right in your hotel. But if you want the big brands, Four Seasons is just walking distance from Venetian, where you'll find Chanel, Fendi, Hermes and other brands. The hotel also offers several dining options, from cheap finds at the food court, to fine-dining restaurants, it literally has everything under one roof. Venetian really is the place to stay in when you're with your family, and even your friends. There's just so much to do, and so much to see! 'Will definitely be back. :)

Great hotel. Loved it.”
the room were great. it's a big room. was told by my cousin it might be a bit dated. but i find the room clean and very comfortable. the bed is far more comfortable compare to the other hotel i resided in hong kong (of the same trip and of the same price range i paid as venetian). location wise, it's the center of cotai, it's only about 10 minutes bus ride to galaxy resort (where they provide free shuttles to everywhere else in macau). a good 15-20 minutes walk to old taipa village. city of dreams (grand hyatt, hard rock hotel, crown hotel and house of dancing dragon performance) is just across the street from venetian's main lobby. there's a lot of shops and restaurants under one roof. i find myself spending more time eating inside venetian itself than going out to eat. the staffs are friendly and try their best to help. overall, a great experience and i wouldn't mind going back to venetian again.

Business Trip @ Macau”
The Venetian Resort Macao is the great place to stay... It's such another way for you to rest and enjoy there, especially if you are in Asia. The resort is beautifully decorated with elements that portray italian style. I have gone to Italy where I had a good time there. Once I got The Venetian Resort Macao, I constantly think that I was in Venice once again. The Gondolas are amazing treats and very special indeed. A lot of the shops and casinos are such fun places to spend time and enjoy shopping. If you have a chance to go there, I really recommend you to visit The Venetian Resort Macao at Cotai Island...

Excellent Stay !! ”
to call venetian macao a hotel would be to belittle such a huge property. i'd rather call it venetian city in macao. it's a huge property, replete with luxury to the last bit. i stayed with my family and enjoyed every second of my stay. we stayed for two nights in royale suite, and again extended one more night. our room had all what we could ask for in a hotel accomodation. the size of royale suite was good enough. had kingsize beds , luxurious sitting area , study table with fax-copier machine, huge bath-cum-toilet. even after three night stay --- we felt that there were still areas of the hotel which were unexplored . i am informed that venetian has about 3000 rooms , 4000 staff members just involved with cleaning the rooms on a daily basis, 18000 staff working working daily just to make guest stay luxurious . phew .... enormous . would surely return to stay again.

Impossibly large hotel with so much to offer”
quite simply one of the best places to stay in when visiting macau, the venetian resort and casino is one the the places you need to visit even if you aren't staying there! rooms were termed as "suites" as they were literally just that! a simple royale suite will feature a single king bed and a living area with sofa setting and a work table in the corner of the room, which is spacious as it is luxurious. shops within the venetian were so plentiful, one could literally stay in the venetian and not go out to other parts of macau. entertainment was also plentiful, with the wide array of bars, restaurants and food centers. the impressive thing is that it has its own in-house cirque-du-soleil performance, and also a large performing arena called the cotai arena where artistes from taiwan and hong kong perform regularly. only drawback was that it is such a popular destination that there were so many people so do expect queues during checking in and out timings.
