Value for Money”
Apart from the fact that our room was on the 3rd level and there were only steep stairs to room. (I am not a stairs person). the rooms were spacious clean and comfortable. Location was awesome. Right on the main strip of the Ao Nang Beach area, 5 mins walk from the beach and 10 mins walk from the Ao Nang Night Market, in the centre of the main market area. Helpful Staff.

Nice room, clean and comfortable. Bed was a bit creaky though being on a wooden base. Shower was good,had a nice balcony, fridge in the room And a big safety deposit box big enough for a laptop. We were on the edge of the hotel do wifi was rubbish. Amazing location, close to the beach and restaurants. Recommended.

Good hotel in a good location. Any problem we had the hotel took care of as soon as they could. Only down fall I would sad was the rooms were decent size and clean enough but a little grubby in their decor - under the sink was visible and grubby etc. Overall good! Thank you for a great stay.

The resort is located at a very prime location, just 2mins walk from the beach. ”
The rooms are spacious, cozy and airy. The view of the tropical forests from the balcony of the 3rd wing is amazing. It has a beautiful pool. The restaurant serves only from morning till 4’o clock in the evening. But the best part is you’re just 2 mins away from Ao Nang beach and ferry to Railey beach. There’s a 7-Eleven and a Cuban styled shack- bar on the opposite side of the road. Must try for a cozy stay.

This hotel is old. Everything in the room is old. Blankets and pillows are very old too. Hot water in toilet is not so hot at all due to it’s age in this hotel. Time for a facelift.

Lots of smell from grey water around building 2. Does not effect room too much. WiFi is very bad. Drops out regularly and very slow when it does work. Definitely not a place for young people. Full of elderly people when we were there January 2020.

The toilet only flushes once every 15 minutes, and our shower was broken. Furthermore the smell in the hallway was horrendous because it smelled like a dirty toilet. Plus, the walls are so thin we could hear or neighbor snor. However, the place of the hotel is great because it is right in the middle of multiple restaurants.

Pathetic service”
The resort is situated at an excellent location, within 100 meters from the sea beach. From outside the resort looks great, but one will realize it after they enter and stay in there. The room service is pathetic. They don't clean the room at all, our room wasn't clean enough even at the time of check in. We stayed there for 3 days and after a day's stay there, we could sense foul smell in our room. We asked them to find it out and they agreed about the same. They said that it might be coming out from a rat and they offered to change our room. We were given a new room and to our surprise, we were downgraded to worse room. The stuffs there were too arrogant to even listen to us. They gave a shit even as I said I am going to write it on Agoda. I have traveled to many places, stayed in different type of hotels, but never experienced such a bad behavior from hotel stuffs. I will rate the hotel good only for its location, there is nothing except that to stay in this hotel.

Bad hotel i never stay before”
Old hotel. Smelly cupboard. We stay two there. On first night we found out that there was a rat inside the bathroom. Luckily we still not yet sleep. Imagine the rat walk around the bed when you are sleep. After our complaints the staff change the room for us. The second room air con. was not working properly. After 3 hours the room still can't cold maybe out of gas. Have to change to third room after argue with the staff. We dont mind to pay extra charge for our children. FYI there is an extra charge for kid below 12 thb500 per kid per night and if the child 12 years old above will be charge thb900 per kid per night. If plan to stay at this hotel better reconsider. I never had this bad experience before in my life. The staff was very rude.

Couch was dirty with stains on it.. staff is wayy too strict regarding check in times no allowance even for a minute early check in. Location is good but Ao Nang way too touristy with expensive shops. Will not stay here again.

The room was unmodern, dirty, smelly and old fashioned. The bathroom had mould and rust and the room had a musky smell, it did not feel clean to sleep in. The staff refused to give us a refund for the 2 nights we didn't stay, we couldn't stay there any longer because of the uncleanliness. The rooms were overpriced, you can get somewhere better for the same price in Ao Nang. I've had hostels that were more modern and better than this. I would upload pictures if this was an option on Agoda reviews, as I could show how run down the room was. Disappointing. Don't bother.

Great value for money hotel right on the main strip in Ao Nang - central to everything! No frills and simple rooms - but very comfortable and well maintained. Great Pool and dining for for lunches. Staff super friendly and helpful. Best smoothie shack in Ao Nang right outside the door with decent Family mart right next door. A great base to explore Krabi and Ao Nang

One of the better Best Westerns I have stayed at..”
I stayed here 3 nights while in Ao Nang and it was one of the better hotels I stayed at for the price I payed. The hotel has a unique style, the rooms are large, the staff honest and helpful. The swimming pool is definitely one of the better features of the hotel. While it is very close to the touristy area, it doesn't feel so. The rooms look nice and are well equipped. I liked that they provided extra towels to take to the beach. While the rooms were aesthetic and nice looking, the bathrooms not so much and could use some updating. It was a little tit in there, however nothing too restrictive. The hotel is in the center of where the action is in Ao Nang or not too far away. Very close to the water taxi ticket office if you want to go to Railay for example. Now the people - while they don't speak a lot of English, they are helpful and honest. On one occasion, my phone must have slipped out of my pocket while I was in the lounge and the staff held on to it until I came back. Another nice thing about the hotel is that they have a locked luggage room in case you need to check out and go for some excursion that will bring you back after your normal check out time. The staff held on to my valuables while I was gone and everything was in place when I got back from my snorkeling trip. The only major issue I had with the hotel was the Internet. They give you a card with a pass code to use. This is for when you are in your room. You can only have one device connected to the Internet with that passcode. It's gets irritating if you want to connect your phone and your computer at the same time because you cannot. Other than that a good stay overall and I would stay here again.

we planned to stay here for 3 days before moving on to phi phi and phuket. the weather wasnt too great in ao nang but worse elsewhere so we stayed at the best western for 7 days in all. the hotel was quiet and we got a bigger room than we expected. we could see the sea from our balcony. great bed, good bathroom, huge fridge feezer, tv with cable. we spent more time in the room because of the weather but it was very comfortable so that was ok. breakfast is in a restaurant a couple of doors down the street. looks like best western own it. great scrambled egg. the pool area was good and the pool clean. staff were very helpful throughout. room cleaned daily. only issue was reception being a bit cagey about internet and then announcing that we had to pay for it - they even said that the agoda listing was wrong. we simply said that the free wifi was one of the reasons we booked here (which is true) and we were given a card with the password on it. you should hold out for free wifi if refused at first. for the price, this hotel is excellent value.
