Friendly hotel with very good location
Great views from the room, good food from the restaurant

we had a great stay at oberland, it was about 5 mins walk from the train station. the owners recommends things to do (murren is a nice place to go!) the food in the restaurnt was decent. the room is clean, views are great, heaters work well, should not compare with the hotels in the city since this is in the mountains. overall a satisfied stay.

This friendly hotel is located in a quiet street near the Termini central station. We arrived too early for check in, but the staff was friendly, looked after our luggage, and had placed it in our room for us when we returned a few hours later. The speak english well. The room was simply furnished, clean, airy, the bathroom looked newly renovated with!

this is a family run hotel decorated with beautifuly flowers. i stayed in a single room with a balcony where you can enjoy a serenity moment with a lovely view of the valley and houses. conveniently located near to the train station of just 5-minute walk. staff are friendly and they gave their professional suggestion for your planning to scenic areas. the availability of iron, internet access and blow dryer are user-friendly. will highly recommend my friends to stay in this hotel.

Great Stay at Oberland Hotel
Great location, large clean rooms with nice decoration and two balconies with terrific views of the valley; very good breakfast buffet with dry & fresh fruits, different kind of delicious cheeses, salami and bread, yougurt, tea, coffee, cereal, etc. Nice roomy dining room and restaurant. Best of all Ursula and Mark are great in providing you advice for trails that are appropriate for the season you are there.

We spent two days and two nights at this hotel in the Lautterbrunnen valley. The valley is great starting point to explore Joungfrough and Schilthorn. You still have to take a train for about 20 min from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen but if you stay in Wangen or Murren you'd have to take additional trains. Staying in Interlaken would not give you the feel of staying in the Alps. The hotel is near the train station. Ursula and Mark are great and with their advice we were able to fill every dingle minute of our stay with different trails. We did the Mahnlichen- Klain Schedeg trail and went to the Shilthorn and then hiked on the way back. We also had a delightful walk along the river in the valley. We had a dinner and fondu at their restaurant and the food was good. Breakfast was great - could not wish for better.
