It's just a good place to sleep for a night or two, somewhere easy. It's not fancy but the bed is superb!
Restaurangtips:
The diner next to it sells delicious quick breakfast for reasonable price. The hotel is too far from city if you don't drive I think. We didn't walk, we drove and that's how it felt to us

Travelodge Cork
Cheapest hotel by far. Wi-Fi if you need it. Vending machines are handy in the lobby.

The hotel was great for us as it was close to the airport and we had a hire car. That made it great for travelling and site seeing as there are great road connections at the hotel. There is no restaurant, but there is an Eddie Rockets Burger Bar there. It is ok for 1 night but you couldn't eat there all of the time. The hotel had a bit of a smokey smell and you could tell it was budget accomodation, but that is what we had paid for and were very happy with what we got! Good size double room, ensuite and TV. The staff in the hotel and in Eddie Rockets were nice and friendly.
Sightseeing/ tips om sevärdheter:
Hire a car at the airport, then it's only 5 mins to the hotel and you can use the hotel as a base to travel and sight see. We found the beaches to the west of cork very nice.

As far as travelodges go this lodge only a short distance from the airport is really no different from all others except for one thing, the staff are very courteous. Although we didn't eat at Eddie Rockets, we enjoyed a milksake and the 30's style atmosphere, a real old fashioned american diner, the juke boxes really work!There is also a convenient petrol station on site.We had booked a room for 3 people and found a shortage of towels, pillows,soaps etc.however we only needed to request more of the above and they would have been provided.
