Stayed in the Charles 4 nights over xmas 2012 the best selling point is its location easy access to historical sights. The rooms are clean and fine for the money i paid double room for 40 pounds , had a room on the fourth floor nice and quiet my friend stayed on the first floor towards the road can be a bit noise during the day. Breakfast is ok but nothing special fruits been a bit old and bread was from the day before you better of book it with out breakfast and just go outside plenty of good bohemian restaurants around.Overall i would stay again there as the location is great

Great location and freindly, helpfull staff.
The rooms are a good size with modern en-suite.

The location is great , very close to the Charles bridge and old town square. We had two rooms which were both a good size and with character but modern facilities. Can reccomend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, good location, good breakfast and a lot of restaurants nearby.

Nothing to complain about,just perfect.Centrum of Praag,excellent Thai restaurant in the basement (comment for Praag) friendly and helpful stuff in the reception,pubs restaurants and even spa treatments all around the corner..

Great location and room is big and clean.

This hotel is located at a few step away from Charles Bridge. The room deco is tasteful and all features are working well.
The set back is the entry to the hotel is not prominent.

Great location, 2min to Charles bridge,
lots of personality, old hotel but clean and well maintained, nice staff at front desk with good english.

The hotel is close to plenty of restaurants and pubs. It can get pretty jammed with tourists in the neighbourhood even in October. Breakfast was adequate but can get hectic depending on hotel capacity.
Tips om att göra på hotellet:
Hotel front desk will book a taxi to the airport, or bus station but the rates are very high and there are cheaper alternatives.

Clean Hotel with Large Rooms

i am happy with my stay at Charles Hotel. Room was spacious, food served during breakfast was good. Some of the front desk personnel are not to friendly to approach.
Tips:
Near the famous Charles Bridge, Santo Nino church, dining areas, shopping areas. Good locatio.

I love the location. Only few minutes walk to the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, the Castle and other beautiful gardens. Convenient transportation to and from the hotel.
Tips om att göra på hotellet:
Make sure elderly travelers do not stay on the 4th floor of the hotel room because the elevator stops at 3rd floor. Then they have to walk up to 4th floor with their luggage and the 4th floor room is actually the roof top with lots of beam in the room.

Excellent location to sightseeing.

Excellent location to major sightseeing attractions - all within walking distance. Rooms were spacious, frescos on the ceilings. Staff friendly and helpful, spoke good English. Fourth floor does not have lift access, so elderly people would struggle to get their luggage up there. Still cleaning rooms in the afternoon.
Sightseeing/ tips om sevärdheter:
Go early in the morning to try an avoid crowds, or later in the afternoon.
