Reste med partner den 16 maj 2013	Value for money but bring your ear plugs new rooms, lovely gardens, fast internet 6,7 We booked our stay at Alona Northland resort around 5 months after they'd opened for bookings. We discovered when we arrived that as at May 2013 they haven't finished building the hotel yet and I'm not sure when they'll be finished. That said, we were concerned when we first arrived because it looked like a construction site on the top level but the ground & first floor rooms have been completed and the gardens and pool are all lovely. The rooms are new, which means that everything is neat and tidy, but the beds are HARD like a lot of hotels in Asia. The internet connection is fast and there's plenty of places in the garden and pool area to sit or swing in a hammock and stay connected (we had to work on this holiday so that was important). Construction noise in the morning, a smelly shower and tacky, characterless decor detract from the place but that's the price of great value. There's no breakfast and the beach is about a 5 or 10 minute walk away (shorter if you cut through one of the beach front hotels). The bar beside the pool is an extra bonus. No breakfast is a little inconvenient but there's a few eateries close by which you can buy breakfast at and the beach is so-so compared to others in the Philippines (we'd just come from Boracay so we didn't care too much). We organised our whale shark tour through reception - I would suggest ensuring that the boat used in the 5 hour return trip is not one of the older ones with loud motor - our hearing has still not recovered. Apart from that, I would definitely reccommend Alona Northland hotel. We got a cheap price, so for a nice new hotel room, nice gardens/pool and fast internet, you will be very comfortable at Alona Northland. If you're looking for a fancy resort experience, pay extra for somewhere expensive or you will be sorely disappointed.

Reste med partner Australia, den 9 maj 2013	great place to stay alittle away from the beach quiteness, great pool, well maintained surraoundings, great rooms 8 my stay was great just what I needed quite clean helpful staff only problem I had is they had no restaurant or breakfast had to order out, only changed the towel every 2 days, bed sheets every 4 days and only had a 500 litre solar hot water system so you had a cold shower most of the time but I was willing to over look these things because I went there to relax and that exactly what I did the staff couldn't be more friendly and courtiouse they arranged tours I wanted to go on and made sure my stay was perfects

The room was large, beautiful, and clean. There was no breakfast and the hotel was a long ways away from either the beaches or most of the restaurants. The service was questionabe as we requested a wake-up call which was never given. The hotel was in a quiet setting with a beautiful pool.

Gruppresenär Philippines, den 3 maj 2013	relaxation at its best clean and beautiful swimming pool, friendly and accomodating staff, fast and reliable room cleaning services 9 my friend and i really had a great time during our three-day stay because of the cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of every hotel staff. they also suggested things to us to better maximize and enjoy our bohol tour, such as renting a car for a very afforable price with chaffeur and tour guide in one. they also offer fast and reliable room cleaning services. the whole area is quiet which offered nothing but perfect relaxation. it was indeed a home away from home experience!
