Charming hotel, but without it's own beach
Beautiful rooms. Lovely garden and pool. Extremely good staff.

The Bali Desa is a very beautiful hotel, and very affordable for Nusa Dua.
The service was fantastic and the hotel staff were fantastic. Concierge were brilliant and very capable.
Unfortunately the hotel does not have it's own beach. Although the beach is only 250m from the hotel, we had to pay to use the beach at another hotel. Which I believe was $12 Australia each for only a few hours.
I love a good buffet breakfast. Sadly the Bali Desa severely disappointed me. Breakfast is served in the small restaurant. There is no buffet. We each had to order each individual item we wanted from a menu. One poached egg, one pancake, one croissant etc We were not allowed a second order and were only entitle to one croissant etc. if we wanted anything more we had to pay. This left us quote hungry some morning. One piece of toasted and one egg doesn't always do the trick.
Room service was reasonably priced, but food was cold upon arrival. Food itselfs was relatively average. The restaurant staff's English wasn't great, so ordering room service was a nightmare.

However, they should keep water dispensar in the villa....

Great location and worth of the money

best features of this hotel hotel are big size rooms, great location.. a walk less than 10 minutes put you in front of the beach, tranquility of the garden and as always in bali, friendly sevices..
the hotel's structure itself is quite old but well maintained..
the only down size of this hotel is the food.. the breakfast doesn't really taste good even it offers enough variety of foods.
we are family with 2 young children and we had a great time and overall it's worth value for the money..

All the rooms in the villa are very nice and enough space for a family. The decoration shows local style. very quiet place. The service is very warmharted and friendly.

The hotel is not big but very comfortable for a family. Its room arrangement of the villa is very suitable for a big family holiday. It is a very quiet place. The service is very friendly. The only disadvantage is that it does not have private beach. The beach is full of the chairs from other hotels and you can not stay on them basically-- which could make you feel a little bit down.

The location of the hotel is not meant for business travellers. It is more suitable for group of budget travellers who have their own activites together and stay away from the hotel most of the time (going outside the hotel for other activities). The food is not of any hotel standard. But the services from the hotel employee is that of helpful, deligent and smiling.

Nice
We had the family villa with 2 bedrooms. The villa was huge! More than enough room for our family of 5. Pool was nice and the grounds were pretty. Everyone who worked there was very nice.

The Bali Desa was a nice little place to stay at. We stayed in a 2 Bedroom Villa Pool Room. The villa was huge and it was more than enough space! Rooms and linens were clean. The staff was very nice and helped whenever possible. There is beach access, but it's a pretty long walk (especially for our 4 yr. old), but worth checking out.

Хорошие, очень просторные номера. В одном номере работало 3 кондиционера-в гостиной и 2-х спальнях Для отеля 3* уборка и смена полотенец осуществлялась каждый день. Но, отель находится в 200м. от моря, проход к морю осущесвляется через заднюю калитку отеля, и что самое печальное отель не имеет собственного пляжа. Поэтому за пребывание на пляже соседнего отеля нужно платить 10$ ежедневно. И второй минус отеля очень скудные и однообразные завтраки, почти полное отсутствие фруктов.
